Post by: platty on 14 October 2008, 10:44:58
.... it failed  :(

N/S/F Brake Hose - I knew it was split anyway, new one on order.
Smoke Test failed - Better get the original chip back in methinks  :-[

Fairly pleased TBH, considering were on 180k now.

A can of diesel magic in the fuel filter canister might do as good a job!

Tractor all set for MOT yesterday checked the lights and guess what. no brakelights.
chased the wiring, brake lights. switch playing up, guess what again, TRACTOR Brake Light Switch only fits the Tractor

Another thanks to JesterRT for the switch from his DEAD TD
MOT monday now :y :y

Thats what I was thinking, but its actually easier (and cheaper) just to drop the old chip back in to it.

The maximum smoke opacity is 3.00[m exp-1], and my average was 4.48[m exp-1]

Looks like everyone is doing alright on MOT's touch wood...

Mines back in tomorrow - got the brake hose replaced, changed the chip back to the original (OMG how slow?) and filled the fuel filter with diesel magic.

Should be all set  :y
