Forgive my ignorance but how is it so expensive for a 32mb card :o

I'd hazard a guess at the "3" at the front of the capacity. ;)

strangely the 256 and 512mb ones are cheaper than the 32's.
Does it HAVE to be 32mb?

Yes, it has to be 32Mb, yes it has to be linear, yes it has to be a specific controller, and yes, it needs to be preinstalled with at least enough software for Tech2 to boot.

just googled those part numbers, yep they are KB not MB!
could make a nice argument though ;D

And to add insult to injury, the Customs charge was just over £31 - that I can accept and live with - but Parcel Farce added a £13.50 handling fee >:(
How come their sister company, Royal Mail, only put a £4 handling fee on?
Bastards >:(

£13.50??
Was £9 a few months back... Either way, bunch of robbing bar stewards >:( >:( >:(

You win some, you lose some. >:(
I was in the US earlier in the year, and intended to "import" some stuff on my return, but it was out of stock. >:( Reluctantly got them to send it to me and it (£200 worth) arrived completely under the radar with nothing to pay via Parcelfarce. :o Nearly ripped the postie's arm off!

Seems Customs are getting a bit more wise to such things, which is fair enough really. But Parcel Farce's £13.50 is a bit steep!

Agreed. Far from covering their administration costs, it's based on the fact that they're holding a (presumably valuable) piece of your property to ransom, and you'll put up with a shafting to get it back. >:(

It's like in the past i have bought stuff on ebay from Hong Kong/USA even OZ and what they tend to do is describe the item as a gift & not worth more than £30 or £36 thats the max you can import without paying duty the only draw back there if it does go missing you can only claim the £30 figure but for instance I recently bought a NB-2LH battery for my Canon camera here at least £10-15 oem & much more original Canon brand , bought one from California brand new oem shipped £4.05!!! it could have contained anything much more valuable if you know what I mean ::)

Customs are getting wise to the 'gift' or the HK 99p, £15 postage scams now....
