Bl00dy ludicrous!! >:(

For Chrissake, it's all for 1 day of the year and it starts earlier and earlier every year. It's sad that the spirit of Christmas has become nothing more than a massive commercial enterprise.

Can you tell it really pee's me off?  ::)

I think that all OOF members should go round to Lizzie's for Christmas day lunch.........so long as she is not to stingy with the booze and mince pies...sounds like a good idea to me. ;D :y

Crikey! :o They can't still call them that, can they? Surely multi-cultural, mid-winter decorative light ornaments would be more PC. >:(

Everyone should start celebrating worrying about Christmas when I do. When I slope oiff early from work on Christmas eve and start the Christmas shopping. Shops doing anything remotely Christmas based before them will cause me to leave empty handed. >:(

Suspect the wife and I will be sharing a vegetarian sausage on our own on Christmas Day.  Younger son zooming off to USA for 2 weeks on the day, daughter working, doubt if older son will be able to make it either - he had last Christmas day off, so he's unlikely to get it free this year.

With no kids around, we probably won't bother with a £25 6' tree either.  Hope there's something good on the telly...

December the 1st I put up my lights, I know thats still too early, but its just a nice change to light the room up with those than a harsh single white bulb.

Totally agree, Loo-Knee.

I've always loved Christmas since I was a child and now I have children I can see how much it means to them too.

Took them out carol singing last year with some of their friends and it was great.  :)

Bring on the turkey, bread sauce, mince pies...  :y

That said, I don't like it starting too early.  :(
