Now you are talking Lk!!
Nortons, Triumphs and can I see a BSA there as well? :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
They were BRITISH quality and handsome motorbikes, not the over dressed things of today! ::) ::) ::) ;D ;)

The kettle in the custom frame looked nice ,the LC was nice as well but didnt like the pipes on it ,has to to be Allspeeds or nothing and seeing Sheenes RG 500 brought back good memories of being a spotty 16 year old on me SS50 and a Nolan polycarbonate full face helmet ;D ;D ;D ;D Oh happy days

Must admit I went to look at a Gamma 500 when I had my Power Valve as a step up from it, but wasn't impressed with the one I went to see.... so didn't have it, but I have tried a few times to catch a couple which i didn't succeed in doing with a YPVS ;D also struggled against the NS400R which also look gorgeous, but still a 2 stroke boy at heart me thinks :y
This is the same colour as the one i looked at which was also there today, still get my pulse racing :y

After seeing your pics l-k,I am thinking that if I get tickets next year I might have to keep them, and make the journey ;D ;D
looks like you had a brilliant day. :y
About those Nortons, got mixed feelings. got caught riding a dunstall commando when I was 16 :-[ :-[ (arse kicking from judge)
Later found out that as well as leaking oil like an old texas well, they dont like it when you rev them reaaly hard.bloke behind had a big lump of exhaust valve stuck in his helmet and one conrod came out to see what the outside world looked like. :D ;D

Spotted next to the Manx Norton a X7 250 and the sweet little honda 400/4 amazing enginering they were :) :) :) :)
-
Would have needed a drip basin, not a tray ;D ;D.......no wonder the japs put them out of business. I must say though that in its time it did handle well, if the vibration didnt shake your hands of the bars mid corner. :D ;D

The pictures I have posted are all from inside, there is also tonnes of stalls selling parts for new and old bikes, I was also suprised of how many motorbikes were for sale, crossers, choppers, Brit Bikes, frames everything you could think of.
Also there was a wall of Death which we didn't go into, but Justin was sinking pretty fast so we came away. But we will go again next year nothing so certain, may buy myself a brit bike to play with me thinks :y
