Uh oh! I watched frozen with horror.....my know-it-all 17 year old got her provisional this morning and then marched in from work bearing magnetic  L plates for my mig "you can teach me mum".  Then that programme came on,.. I was to afraid to turn it off! ;D ;D ;D

Buying one is a piece of cake. I keep mentioning  cars to No 1 Daughter eg Corsa she just keeps saying that she can't afford to run one.  ;D  ;D :y :y

Errrr?  :-/ No! She's not at home now - at uni - so she can sort her own car & fuel out. The Bank of  Mum & Dad already pays her accomodation & some spends! :-?

They're currently being loosened to the tune of around a grand a quarter, there's nowt more to flutter for! :'(

Was thinking about this the other day.....
Being a dad does seem to have a few draw backs... one being you have to go work far more than your mrs... the other you are thought to have a bottomless pocket.......

then I thought about the mum.... I would hate to do that role, wondering what to cook for tea every night, what shopping will be needed to do the planned meals for the week, clean the house etc etc

I wonder why we get married and have children???? ;D ;D ;D
