Love the one about the 16inch screwdriver. I've got a massive one (screwdriver) and I've never found a screw big enough to need it. But it does make a great lever and, sometimes, chisel :-[

Been there done that but hacksaw made me laugh and expletive. My wife always gives me grief and askes why do I have to swear when the spanner slips and I removed the skin off my knuckles in the freezing cold or when you whack you thumb or fingers with a hammer. I always say its a reaction thing and it helps to take away the inital pain but she refuses when I offer to demonstate on her ;D
