Either that or a socket and a big lump hammer :y

A good trick I've used on a few occasions is to mig weld some nice lumps onto the bolt. (protecting your allies with something of course )

This seems to have the double effect of the heat loosening the bolt a bit and the weld gives you something to hit with a chisel.

This has worked when the usual hammer a socket on or other methods have failed , although hammering a socket on first is a good idea cos even if it doesn't work I think it loosens the bolt a bit.

luckily I have steels on the car At the mo, so very easy access to the bolt

There is a trick to stop you hammering a socket on them though - the outside of the bolt just turns! :(

That's when the mig comes in handy again cos you can weld the ring to the bolt.
I realise a lot of people haven't got a mig, but most reasonable garages will do it for you at a decent price, or even maybe just a drink if you know them.
