As the title says i need some urgent advice...if possible from someone who has owned a 2.0ltr Omega Auto.
Basically ive got the chance of a 2ltr Estate but its the auto....Can anyone tell me what there like on fuel consumption compared to a 2ltr manual, also power wise compared to the manual and ummm well anything else that's appropriate.
Price seems good...Cambelt changed 2k miles ago with receipts and vauxhall replaced engine in 2001.
On and its a p reg Gls so basic but i don't mind.lol
If i buy this tonight i"ll be looking at shifting my Elite very quickly so could be a bargain for someone.!!!!!

Cambelt changed 2000 miles ago.
Yeah 16v Ecotec.
Ive had a couple of 2ltr manuals and found them to have plenty of power and not bad on petrol just really wondering how the auto compares.

Performance is OK
Consumption on a run around 30 or so - thrashing 20

I've got a 2ltr auto but as I've never driven the manual, I don't know how they compare. Mine runs on LPG as well and to be honest, I'm a bit disapointed with performance and economy, I expected better :-/ It's fine once you wind it up the revs and great on motorways but a bit slow on the twisty bits. The best bet would be to drive it and see.
