Title: Pictures of some furry critters...
Post by: PaulW on 28 October 2008, 15:06:01
Cheers to Pete for being so patient while I sorted things out!

Smirnoff

Stalin

Smirnoff seems to have a bit of Diarrhoea tho (green porridge for poo), but is still quite active and eating/drinking healthily.  Shall see how it goes today and then get in touch with the vet.  Symptoms are not the same as Wet Tail though (thankfully) which can be fatal, so could just be stress-induced from the move.

Aye thats what I read somewhere online.  Thing is tho, Smirnoff is the most tame (Pete's favourite little fella too), so is just a bit weird!  Just done a food & water change anyways, but there all still sleeping...

Signed up to a few sites, they seem to say the same about the stress!

Let me know how he is Paul and if he goes to the vets I will contribute to the cost ;)

Just a thought, if you feed them fruit, you should introduce it slowly but you probably already know that from the sites you've been on.

Well I went the vets before for some freebie advice, said it could of just been stress aswell from the move, but I'll get them down there anyways in a day or so for a check!

Aye I'm going to try them with a bit of banana once they've been there, but for now I've got some strawberry sticks I put in for a little while during the day for them to nibble on, seems to be going down quite well :)

Appetite wise, there all eating bril (especially the old looking one, bloody greedy swine!) drinking ok too :)

Stalin (bully one) has also decided to use the tube at the front of the cage as its nest (now filled with all the bedding) the other 2 are staying in the cage to sleep though!

Interesting little critters tho, and bloody noisy at night when there all on the wheels at the same time  ;D ;D ;D

You should link the wheels to a generator ;D
