Does anyone know how it takes to process the fine and send it through the post ::) ::)

I think if you don't hear nothing after the 2 weeks your in the clear.
Heard it on a TV programme before I think.

They have to get the NIP in the post within 2 weeks, so give it 3 weeks to be safe.

Oh well if I'm caught I'm caught . The thing that gets up my nose though was that i was caught by one of those Road Casualty Reduction Units .

14 days for service of NIP to registered keeper. If regkeepr was not the driver then, provided the paper trail starts within that time to trace the actual driver (think company car scenario) via regkeeper, then the 14 day rule is pretty much spent.
ultimately, up this way at least, its a 6 month time bar to prosecution, su start thinking eastertime!.... ;)

i got caught by a static camera @37mph a few years ago a disputed it by asking for photographic evidence :-/ not because i thought there was much chance of getting off but because i wanted to stall prosecution till after i'd renued my insurance ::)
