Good news, at long last I have fitted a new DIS Pack to my 2.5 V6 and the dreadded misfire at 2000 rpm has gone. I also fitted new VX spark plugs of the part number recommended on the forum.
The ones I took out are GM 93183992. they have three electrodes unlike the twin electrode ones I fitted.
Are the ones I took out the original fitments or incorrect!!! ???

My guess is they were incorrect. I had the two-electrode ones fitted to my 1997 2.5, and the 4-electrode ones on my current 2001 2.6, never seen 3-electrode ones on Omega before.

Hmmm, I've not come across a triple electrode one before. Sure you haven't lost an electrode? ;)

It is strange, my old omega had 3electrode sparkplugs when i got it, but again i don't remember the brand.

Still dont know if they are the right ones for LPG i tried to get NRG Platinum plugs hearing these were the ones to go for but could not get any from anywhere for a 2 litre megga.

That's abother thing that p's me off with Halfords. >:( They seem to think that all cars only have 4 cylinders (& here we all know 6 is the minimum ;) ;) ). The last time I bought plugs from them (many many moons ago) I told them I wanted to buy 6 not 8 or nothing at all - they 'found' some singles for me. ;)

Cheaper than about £2 each for twin electrode ones from vx with TC card? ;)

They are off the 2.6 they are 80K sparkplugs work well on the 2.5 aswell which are 40k plugs.
