I know you're not planning on doing any changes until the next version, but how about a "light" next to your posts to signify if your on-line when the new one's ready? The only way to know at the moment is to click someones profile.

oh course, its a lie, as a webserver cannot know if someone is still on the site, just make a guess from recent activity....

Yes, that sort of thing... ...or check for a specific logout, or use intelligence to work out... ...but still always a guess....
