You may have noticed we had another Linux issue earlier today.
It took a little longer to resolve, as the monitor connected to the server had failed a couple of weeks ago.
Fortunatley, Mantahatch kindly donated one to us, but I hadn't got round to swapping them over, so I had to quickly do that before I could fix the server.

I've got an Iiyama HM903DTB 19" CRT monitor (0.24 dot pitch, 1920x1440 max res) thats currently surplus to requirements, if its of use. Built in USB hub and speakers etc. Big and heavy but a cracking picture quality......

Yes I know uptime can never be 100%, but I am getting concerned about server stability.
The router, well, that was out of the ordinary, but then it does get thrashed all day, every day, and not just with the internet connection (its also does a lot of internal layer 3 routing around my vlans). I think the router is probably approaching end of its life, but I have been unable to find a better ADSL router, let alone one that can manage my internal network routing requirements.
The server itself, despite being only around 15 months old, is struggling to cope. The growth of OOF, and to a lesser extent other services I host on it, far exceeded my forecasts, so that needs replacing :'(
Looking at replacing with HP Proliant ML310 G5 dual core Xeon but is out of stock everywhere in UK (Quad core too expensive).

Why does it always happen just after I've installed / un-installed something or made firewall config changes.... ;) ;) ;) ;) then I'm hunting around for a man-made fault which doesn't actually exist. I even had a problem with Google Chrome loading, and that was them .... Hey Ho, welcome to world of computing :) :) :) :)
