Title: Poorly Gaffers
Post by: Gaffers on 12 November 2008, 17:20:19
Just spent the last 3 days in hospital after feeling ill since wednesday last week.  Stabbing stomache pains, fever (which subsided) and constant pain when it isnt stabbing.

After several blood tests, ultrasound, and a good sleep where they put a camera down my gullet into my stomache they finally found the problem.  :(

Ulcers both in the oesophagus and stomache........and I'm only 31!  :o :o

Maybe I need to change jobs?  :-/

my dad said milk eased the pain, apparently it lines the stomach walls,  he had a pint every night before he went to the pub

ok back from the doctor, I dont have to cut out beer or red meat as nothing is wrong with the liver or pancreas.  I may have to cut down from my current 3-4 coffee a day though........ :(

I cant function before a coffee in the morning  :-?
