From an era that will never be repeated ... when the comedy was clean and the kids could watch without parents wondering what was going to come next!  Was usually politically incorrect too  ;)

Don't get me wrong I love the Evan's, Carr's and Brown's (Chubby NOT Gordon) of this world, but a bit of good, clean fun still has me rolling on the floor.

Another great talent lost ... RIP

The most surprising thing about Reg Varney is that he was well into his fifties by the time he did "On The Buses". There's
something a little bit creepy about this fiftysomething* guy, living with his mum and "chasing birds".......so watch out Tunnie....this could be you in a few years  :y :y ;D

Did you know he was the first person to use a cash machine!

Funny thing.......Reg Varney was in his mid fifties when he first  played the part.......still lived with his mum .....yet had a never ending stream of "dolly birds"on the sofa...after his mum had gone to bed.

His best mate (name eludes me)...was a bit of a leering perv with the young dolly birds...mind. :y :y :y

Sadly gone to that great bus terminal in the sky. :(
"Butler will be sadly missed - such a funny guy, used to give me a real laugh when I was younger and how refreshingly un-PC On The Buses was. :)
