Have you ever tried to buy the car of your choice 4 days before christmas? Dont !!

Have to say the build quality doesnt feel as sturdy as the barge - electric windows a bit rattly

But it looks dam nice and we got a cracking deal on it - shes even got an irmscher back box   :(

Done the oil change and oil, pollen and air filters this morning and she ticks over very nice  :y

Rain on now so coolant change postponed

I know we dont like veccies on here ut better than a renault ? Yes / No ?

does look nice, miles better than French crap. My old boss had a Megan, it was awful, he has so much go wrong with it.... and he did a fraction of the millage i did in my megga.

I never liked veccys personally on the driving position and room, not been in one for a while though....

Veccy-C drives much better than Veccy-B, but Veccy-B ain't too bad.  I find Veccy-B seems cramped compared to Omega, and the windscreen is too close...

Looks tidy Markiec and I bet it's easier to work on and will be more reliable than anything French  :y

That looks tidy enough to me. Obviously wrong wheel drive though

Well she`s just driven it for the first time ( outwith a test drive) and likes it but she is a bit of a poser . girl racer still  ::)

Noticed this morning that theres some leakage from one of the front shocks so i reckon i will be replacing both soon.....atŁ29.75 trade club its much cheaper than the respective Renault parts  :-X

And yes so so so much easier to work on but WHY vauxhall to you insist on putting oil filters in such stupid places :(

i can vouch for that - lots of knuckle grazing and unlike the wifes 2.0 sri you cant see the ground through the engine compartment!!

everything in the v6 vectra requires something else removed to get to it!!

Oh i know the very ones - come of okay - putting back on could be challenging

PMSL, read that as "we never got ours back together, so you're on your own"

According to "The haynes theory", if you smack into a lamp post, simply reverse off it and everything will be back together again :y

Funny thing was, reason I hit lampost was because I was in a hurry. Reason I was in a hurry, was because the garage had had the van all morning due to me running out of diesel the day before, and they'd never bled one before.  So 15mins after them sending me off, I was back with a caved in rear end (reversed into lampost)  :-[

I warned them not to give me an Escort ;)
