Hi Folks,
Just seen a Miggy on a garage forecourt near us, with an OOF sticker in the back window.
So I take it it was someone's on here - it's reg is X*** FUY - any ideas who's it is?
And any known problems with it? My brother-in-law is after one (he doesn't want a 3.2 maunal like me... ::) )
Cheers :y

I dont know about this one! where is it??
edit: found it!
-
It looks like a nice 'un - but no mention of s/history, and that cambelt will be due any time now.
Just wanted to know who's it was, why they got rid, and if it had any problems that they knew of (don't want to end up getting a pup, or else the B-I-L will never let me live it down!)

;D ;D
i might go and have a look at it tomorrow, its walking distance from my house, i doubt the weather will allow a testdrive though if i'm honest!!
should i check it out for your bro in law?
do you still have your plod one?

I used to live down that neck of the woods!
But even still, it's only a couple of miles away. Thanks for the offer pal, but I'll try to get down myself after work tomorrow :y
I don't have my ex plod one anymore I'm afraid :( But a chap's got his feelers out for me, cos I'm after another one - so fingers crossed I'll have another one again soon!! :D To be honest, I should never have sold me last un - regretted it ever since :'(
But one thing's for sure - once I do get me mitts on another 3.2 Manual Miggy saloon, I'll not be selling it!
-
I dont blame ya!! only seen one saloon about so it might well have been yours, sometimes the wipers didnt sit in the right place on the windscreen??
still see a few estates about though!
I miss my elite, but looking at current prices i got rid at the best time, but if i had cash i could tie up in a car, it would be another 3.0 elite as soon as possible!
for now....... corsa :( ;D

It's wipers used to sit fine when it was in my custody (geddit? :D ), and I fitted the blade-type wipers to it too. So not sure if it's my old 'un or not - something might have been done to it since I sold it which means its wipers don't sit properly now :-/
How's the Corsa treating you? You can't afford to not have a gas guzzler these days :D ;D

the cost of the elite wasnt the problem, especially now as the tax rate increase has been held back (mine was Y reg) but its the fact that as a postman i did so many short journeys it was really not helping the engine!!
the corsa, apart from taking longer to warm me up on the cold mornings, has been flawless, faultless, and just perfect! never failed to start no matter what the conditions! done me proud on a couple of longer journeys too but isn't comfy for long driving
it fills on under £40 tho and gets me about 360 miles off that, so its perfect!!

Happily surprised the garage has'nt removed the OOF sticker. If it's any good i hope some one buys it & keeps it within the fold. ::)
