I have an early model V6, and I always find that the TCS cuts in just when I DONT need it.
Like, I can be halfway round a roundabout, theres a little squirm, I correct then suddenly BANG and Im all outta shape again.
Spoke to Daz on the phone yesterday...he says he's never had this problem.  Ive spoken to 2 friends who have driven Omegas, and they've both said the slow TCS is one of the few drawbacks of the car.
Just wondered how many others have a slow TCS response time, or if it's just me being a **** driver ;D

its tc, not a "dont worry, drive how you like, i'll sort it" device ;D
that said, it does a reasonable job of catching it, but only if its poweer related - for eg, it will do sod all for lift-off oversteer.
later (post 98) system is better, but you need to understand what it is, and remember not to drive beyond the capabilities of the chassis in those conditions

Must say mine's very good, although it can be a little obtrusive if I want to play and forgot to press the button ::) ::) ::)
That said, it did have a bit of an issue yesterday morning when I hit some ice at low speed... Certainly woke my reactions up at 6am :D :D :y :y

I think all Omegas are TC only ...........no sophisticated ESP or equivalent. :y :y

4 channel system that, if effectively reducing the throttle isn't enough, will apparently nip the brake of individual brake calipers. Still a PITA though.
