Yep, happy New Year to one and all  ;D  I hope no one has suffered from last night's stormy weather, my neighbours fence is doing it's best to change into decking  ;)

yep it was bad up here!! Glasgow and Edinburghs parties cancelled...and my garage took a battering but is still ok  :y

Beautiful sunshine here today - but heard on the local radio: The New year's day sponsored dip in the sea was called off - because:- [size=18]The wrong sort of waves![/size]

Been for a drive today and played with cruise - get quite a bit more MPG as well.

I normally find cruise is at best the same, usually lower mpg....

Well I'm a bit heavy footed and keeping a constant speed makes sure you take smoother lines and brake a bit less - I was getting occasional 40mpgs on the flat.

Well it will be invaluable on the motorway come summer time when I can set it on at 70mph (naughty I know!) and leave it on until Brent Knoll unless stuck in traffic.

I know it is a bit over the limit when towing but in France 82.5 is legal!

Can't you read MPH not MPG

anyway if it does 35mpg it is equivalent to 70 mpg
