ive just got hold of a pair of projector lights, one is o,k but the other has adjuster issue plus a leak, ive stripped off the lense & found that the reflectors were covered in a white dusty stuff, went to wipe it off with a damp cloth & the silver started to come off the reflector >:( so now its got a yellow plastic patch where the silvering has come off, all i can say is what a crap coating, just thought id put this on here to warn others to be careful if attempting to clean these things :(

Mate, that's pants :( :( Allways try a small inconspicuous area first :y

all i can say is if our water is that strong then id better not drive after a cuppa :D, just find it unbelievable that a coating can be that bad, didnt get that in the old monza days :'(

looks like you'll have to clean them down and give em a spray.....

dont think they are worth spraying as you never get that mirror finish, as ive only lost a bit the size of a 10p i wont worry too much ;)

I had similar problems on my Senator 24V. Very fiddly to clean and not lose the 'silvering'.

i used the soft cloth you get with a pair of specs to give it a light dusting (and the projector lens) ;)
