Title: How much should I ask for my MV6
Post by: bobgod on 09 December 2008, 20:31:47
I recently asked form help in "omega general help" under the title        "3.0 MV6 won,t run below 3,000 RPM"
and despite all the help have decided to sell it as a non runner as spares or repair.
I've had several contacts about it but no real idea about it's value.
I'm not a dealer just someone with more car than knowledge.
Any thoughts welcomed.

Bob

No idea, I have a perfectly running and very clean 2000 Facelift Elite Estate with colour sat nav, I am going to part company with - and  while it's realistically worth more, i'm expecting a 3 figure sum for it.

Sorry, we have hijacked your thread.

JamesV6CDX never keeps a car longer than 10 minutes, despite claims whenever he gets a new one that he will keep it for years...

i paid £200 for a Mint MV6 with FSH and it was well loved car! bought it off a collegue at work

unfortunatly big heavy petrol drinking cars are unwanted by most of the general public which is a stupid idea as a 3.2 V6 produces a smaller carbon footprint than a Toyota Prius ;)

Myn is a 99 Registered S Reg and it had 108k on the clock or there abouts where abouts in the UK are you???

btw im after a 3.2 AUTO Saloon or Estate fancy a facelift i think they look abit sharper/fresher!!!

It's a 2000 reg ex police mv6.Was reliable until the day it stopped.A bit of surface rust around the edges but nothing serious.
Don't know if it would be better as a project for someone or breaking for spares.

Unfortunately, ex police with no MOT and tax and not running well will not be worth much at all :(

Sadly, its value is not that high even if it was running fine with a full MOT - Omega values have dropped significantly since the summer.
