We're off in a few hours... 04:00 Dover-Dunkirk, down to Lille for the Christmas Market, up to Ypres to pay our respects and on to Tobacco warehouse for Ciggies, back to Eastenders in Calais for Christmas booze and then supermarket for general shopping before catching the 23:58 ferry back! should be back home about 04:00 Wednesday morning... A trip of a mere 27 hours and I'm unlikely to get much relief from the driving :o :o :o
Still... Got other drivers with me if desperate, although they wont do any of the European driving on the "wrong" side... I actually enjoy it :D :D
I'll not be filling with LPG in France as it's more expensive than here :o :o :o but Belgium is supposed to work out about 37ppl :y :y :y Methinks I'll fill in Belgium ::) ::)
See you all later... Going for the first of many power naps over the next 36 hours ::) ::)

It is probably too late for Mon Docker but those going to france take note of the new laws there:
-High vis vest carried in the main cabin (not in the boot)
-warning triangle carried in boot
This is in addition to the extant laws:
-bulb and fuse pack pertinent to car
-first aid kit
Boring I know but the french police are rigid on these issues, esp with foreigners.

Thanks for that Gaffers! Luckily I used to be a regular crosser and keep up to date with the laws :y :y :y
Wasn't a bad trip really... Although was really disappointed with Lille's Christmas Market! It was just a load of overpriced crap I could have bought at any large town market >:( >:( >:( Third best in Europe my arse! ;D ;D ;D
Still... Was a good trip in the end although I must confess I'm suffering today... Left home at 00:45 Tuesday and got home again at 02:40 today :o :o :o
