Title: Tech2 Question

Hi everyone. Hope this is the right place, it's technical but not omega related.

Would the Tech2 that you guys use work on my Saab 9000 (1996)?

Not sure whether it is GM, ODBII etc. , hopefully the Tech2 wizards would be able to enlighten me...

I think (but not 100%...), that Tech2 will work on your Saab, as long as your Saab is OBD2 compliant.  But I'm sure someone more knowledgable on Tech2 than me will confirm  :y

I think it will work as a code reader, but not for software updates, unless Jaime has the special Saab memory card for it.

It would work if you had a copy of TIS for Saab to reprogram the Tech2's software from Vauxhall/Opel to Saab.

Without the Saab software on the device, it won't work at all.
