You're better steering clear of eBay anyway Ron.  ;)

Behave yourself! I have been trading on Ebay for 5 years and have had next to no problems. I had more hassle in COMET this morning trying to buy a DVD recorder. I refused to give them my address, because I don't have to and I don't want any more mailing list influxes. They didn't like me refusing, but I used my trump card as always. 'I've just realised, you don't know who I am do you?'

That always works because they obviously don't know who I am. I usually follow up with the words, 'remember during your training the mention of Mystery Shoppers? Yes? Well you have just met one. Enjoy your weekend, I'll deal with this on Monday' the result being that it will probably spoil their weekend and I won't deal with it on Monday at all.

Shoppafobe. That's me.

It does have TC and facelifts are just a normal Omega, but with some nice things removed (like the climate panel) and some nasty things put on, like a scooped Plenum. (On real engined ones).

It was the lack of 'TC' button that made me ask

My prefacelift has one of them. Something else that needs to come off to get to cambelt ;)

To be honest looking at the pictures it could be a 2.0 cdx estate made to look like an elite, smart looking though.

There is no evidence of TC and the fact that headlights even though they are on in the piccy still look like normal headlights which are non xenon.

Its got to be a 2.0 the v6 dials go up 160mph not 140mph has anyone else spotted this.

The petrol V6 dials certainly go up to 160 - not sure about the deisel.

Sad that I am have done some browsing and all the TD's I have seen in 2.5 have 140mph dials that blows my theory out the window.  :-[

Bit strange though how its missing the TC.

All V6's should have the 160mph speedo, if its got the 140 one its been fiddle with.

4 Pots and Diesels have the 140

Police ones have the 155mph

Cow is standard on the TD Elite.

Headlights are projectors upto  late 1998 when they would be Xenons.

All 2.5TD speedos are 140mph.

All facelifts have climate (even the poverty spec ones) and its a much superior system with air quality monitor, fully independent selection of air direction etc....

These first appeared on the mini facelift 3.0V6 (and then later on the 2.6 and 3.2 to support drive by wire)
