Title: Sensors cleaned

1st of all happy new year to all (sorry it's a bit late) cleaned off my abs sensors yesterday and they still come on did i see someone say clean the plug on the ABS ECU (where is that located again please?) mot is for friday morning so fingers xed

not far from pas reservoir - you'll see all brake pipes go there...

Cheers m8 sensors were grubby had a load of yellow stuff on them so wire brush and some special cleaner stuff bad thing about them is it's plastic rubbing on metal or vice versa one of the two bit stupid really >:(

Nothing should rub - there should be clearance....

A tech2 will help diagnose, but experience does suggest ecu I'm afraid, esp if 1998 on...

There is a how 2 in the maint guides, not a fun job!
Glad Steve did his before I bought it!

Clean the connectors, and also try tap the relays gently with handle of screwdriver....

Any joy only since my visit to see TheBoy last year mine has been fine, fingers crossed its just a dirty contact for you.
