Title: Buying a Wii
Post by: mars on 27 December 2008, 20:27:34
I am intending buying a Wii in the next few days and have a budget of about £350. Does anyone know of any stores with particularly good offers on bundle deals etc? Thanks in advance. :y

HMV mate, online.

£350 will get you plenty of Wii gear from there.

Santa bought me a PS3 with COD 5, F1, GTA4, Gran Turismo 5, TIger Woods and 2 pads.

Have had a go on the Wii and they are good fun but the games are more novelty than anything else.

Good laugh with the Wii Fit board too.......!!!

OK

Wiiiii
2 controllers
2 nunchucks
2 gamepads
1 RGB Scart or 1 Component cable (depending on TV)

lots and lots of AA batteries or an official charger

Afterwards

Balance board.
Wiiiiii wheels

Games

Mario Carts
Super Mario Galaxy
DeBlob

all worth trying

One boy prefers using a game pad to the Wiiiiiii wheel for Mario Carts

If you want an extra controller buy the "Wii play" game from Play.com comes with a controller. An extra controller Alone from Asda is the same price. Was going to buy this for my grandson until someone put me wise to the Play.com one, free del as well.
