Yes - rather young though but I assume Moffatt knows what he is doing - and for non fans the new showrunner is one of the best writers working in TV (internationally)
HOWEVER
If you see any threads anywhere any forum discussing big brother it is your duty to start discussing the new Doctor - at least DW is a LOT less sad than watching hasbeens and neverbeens

Spot on, I told my 11 year old it was on earlier and he said he had grown out of it ;D ;D ;D

Well now that its public knowledge my daughter can relax ...... she works on Dr Who/Dr Who Confidential/Torchwood/Merlin and had to sign a 3 page "non-disclosure" agreement a few weeks back ... all under pain of death isf she breathed a word !!! Wouldn't even tell us :(
Only thing she has said is the last episodes of Tennants "Dr" are something special....

Who gives a frick? It was a good prog in it's day but it's got nothing left to offer now, hence the constant changing of Drs. & desperate Torchwood spin offs. Only the die hard trekkie dweebs will want it now, the mainstream appeal is sadly lost, been strung out long enough.

Been some excellent episodes in the last four series look up the following and give me an opinion on it
The episode is called Blink. Series 3 new Doctor Who.
Won loads of awards against the US dramas.
Watch it and you will change your mind possibly partly

At first i didnt like the new doctor who, but after seeing a few i sort of grew into it again. even as a forty something i STILL like it. :y
-
Despite my usual gob i am a bit of a Luddite & my opinions don't reflect real viewing figures. I love the original 60's Star Trek but could'nt give a Rats about ANY of the others since which many folk love so fair go, i'm a nostalgic! [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Dr Who is great family entertainment for ALL ages.

Were you young during the 1980s?
I remember it was good with Pertwee and Baker then got very silly with McCoy
-
I can remember when Pertwee took over (just),my dad loved it.He also insisted on absolute quiet when star trek was on which could be why I hate that as well. ::)
