Spend money on your current elite Paul!
Get that PC fitted... You know you want to! :y

I know I know!
Plans for the current Elite was to do a 3.2 conversion, tidy it all up & other bits (new wishbones, suspension, wheels, blah blah)
But, I'm tempted to get a facelift 3.2 Elite, split or sell the current Omega to get some funds up to do a few things to the new one...
Just don't know... Hence why wondering what I should be looking at spending for a 3.2 Elite, given there are some bargains out there at times, is it worth waiting about for one??

about £1400

about £1400
so for about 2k I should get quite a tidy one then...
meh guess all those which are 2 to 3 times that are all oppertunists then ::)

I paid £1950 for my 81k mile 02 plate 2.6 elite with Bose, MID (no satnav, dammit), about two months ago. Based on posts on here since, that was on the high side.

Smartarse! ;D
I procrastinated on a black 140k miler 3.2 elite which had colour satnav which went for £1400... I needed my car quick so I ended up paying for it.
And to add the £200 odd in parts I've spent since - cambelt kit, water pump, aux belt, rocker cover gaskets - and the £200 odd to be spent on wishbones, steering idler, N/S bearing, front discs and pads, and I've spent more than I should, really.
At least when I buy the next one I know how much it's going to cost me to keep it on the road!

Or do you reckon I can get that DK bloke down from 5k to 2k ::)

I am *extremely* tempted to just offer them £2k for it, and say thats what parkers, glass, etc, all say its worth...
-
Why dont' you keep yours?

I'd say go for it! If they turn you down, leave a number, and in 6 months when they haven't sold it they'll bite your arms off for 2k... at which point you can offer them a grand. ;D
