Why do bonnet & bumper want painting though? If the mileage is right might not be a bad motor. :-/
-
one answer is he ran into something. If he has damaged the bonnet, it must have been a fair thump, radiator OK ?. Or he could have bought it as a write off, the current value of the Miggy is so little, it would not take much damage to write it off. The driver's mat is very dirty, you would have thought he would have cleaned it beffore selling.
A local body shop charges £60 per panel spray so not a lot to finish.
Needs a few questions first before going for it.

Posted it then could'nt get back on til now, tut. Anyway seller did'nt list whether any geometrical damage or cat listed (if you were interested you'd want to know) Just looked on lappy & he's put it back on @£900, must be desperate!!!!! :y

Just noticed its a 2.2
Best offier I'd do would be about £750 in its current state, if its not cat recorded that is...

i messaged him, it is accident damaged by "previous owner" but unrecorded as it was only the bumper and bonnet

You'd really want to look before parting with the cash, wouldn't you. I mean you don't know exactly what else has been knocked. It might be clean but ........
