I'm looking for ideas for basic games for my 3 and 5 year olds to play on our new Wii. Don't have to be latest stuff as they wont know or care, also any reasonable driving games for me as a beginner. Second hand ebay stuff is probably what i have in mind unless anyone here has any games they are bored of and want to sell.
Am i right in thinking that gamecube programs will also work?

Mario Kart Wii, £27.01 inc VAT from Costco...

Super Mario Galaxy
De Blob
Excite Trucks is an OK driving game
Anything with a Mario in should be fine.

All Wii driving games are more 'arcade' style than 'simulation' style, so easy to pick up and play for anyone.
Even Marks DTM can play Mario Kart Wii, so must be easy :P

Think I even won one race.....although pretty crap in the rest....but it was a new game to me!

We NEED to get some proper OOF matches sorted
Apologies a Christmas one never happened, we had some unexpected issues to deal with :(

Thats the point, the game trys to keep all players even-ish, by giving leading players rubbish power-ups (bananas), and tail players good power-ups - In those 12 races we had, I must have got hit by that blue shell about 20 times (blue shell - homes in on race leader and bombs them).
Whether you won or lost, I bet you secretly enjoyed it?

I'd love to know how you manage such good starts!

I was too busy over Christmas with family, and then that pesky server migration.
But I'm always up for a match :D
Hope you unexpected issues were all sorted without too much distress.
