four years ago it was minus 14 deg C here the day the phone company fitted our phone. We had no heating in the house then and I offered the bloke a beer and he accepted and drank it! Don't let anyone kid you that Spain is warm in the winter!

-6.0 here in Suffolk when I took the wife to school at 07:30, -3.5 when I fetched her home at 17:15.

The youngest son is off in New England looking at the snow in Vermont - bet it's colder there.  Our weekend house guests have just gone back to Estonia - they were expecting it to be about -15.

Someone in a thread a few days ago remarked how soft we were going and how they used have frost on the inside of the windows in winter......well i havent got double glazing and there was frost on the inside of my bathroom windows this morning......and theres a radiator in there.....mind you it was cold in there this morning....my bathrooom is in a flat roof extension....that was built about 30years ago, before they had heard of insulation......so i assume it doesnt have any  :(

First day back to work yesterday and spent it on the beach at Lusty Glaze in Newquay doing a training course. A bit chilly at 5o but not a cloud in the sky and a lovely swell with nice surf.

I'm sure there are worse ways to earn a living.  8-) 8-) 8-)

And, if any of you holiday near Newquay, it's quite a nice beach just out of the main town and great facilities.  :y

Not quite mate, but we did do this, which was a bit chilly around the old knackers.
