i think they way they are being introduced to the weapon and the situation they're in is wrong, and will develop a disrespect for weapons, however i think in the right setting/environment, and if done in the right way, then teaching children how to use weapons, and more to the point when, would be ok.

i would'nt say this is any of those though, especially as it serves no purpose since the weapon being used should not be by the child.

the right to bear arms is to defend yourself in a time of war, or something similar, and not a blanket civil liberty to arm yourself.

its been interpreted to suit people, as have many ammendments, and constitutional rules, in america.

In the first video he was very well dissaplined with the rifle & there's no problem with him using it. The second two (especially the last vid) i'm not sure.
I used guns at a earlier age than them, but i was supervized by my father & so you learn respect them.
The last video was just plane stupid, she had no idea how to even hold the weapon, her teacher (loose word) should have shown her how to hold the weapon & stand correctly, i've seen people flat on their backs from the recoil, because of the wrong stance.
IDIOTS >:(

wasn't it H21 who found the clip of the bloke shooting a Barret .50 at a target a few hundred yards away .The bullet hit the target bounced back and took his ear defenders off narrowly missing taking his head with them

Only looked at first one - no problem with guns - as long as people are taught to respect them.

They are a tool, they are lethal in the wrong hands, you must respect the weapon.

People who mess with them should be on the receiving end.

thats one of the main problems in the video, the parents attitudes to the use of a weapon.

i dont think americas belief that they can bear arms will change any time soon, but you'd hope a parent would realise a child that age does not need to fire a 50 cal rifle, and certainly that firing one is not a time to meet up with friends, have a laugh and shoot some rounds.

fast forward 10 years and guess what the kids doing at night with his mates???  now figure out how it'll end???
