-
I've never liked 5th gear so that should equal it out ;D ;D ;D
-
top gear should do a review of it soon
see what gezza and the hamster thinks of it
may will love it
-
good, slate it, hope they all hate it. All to our advantage in a couple of years time :-) .... It is rear wheel drive isnt it?
But on a serious note, i really dont like the shape.
-
Lol, I think anything will be better build than the current Mondeo....the hire car one I had 6 months ago, the door card came off when I shut the door!
Very poorly screwed together!
Interestingly, the Insignia had more of an Omega style interior build quality to it when I looked at one, much better than the Vectra it replaces.
They were giving the VXR8 a good workout to!

No not rear wheel drive :(
-
they do a 4 wheel drive though
today was the first time i saw one in the flesh up close that i got a good look at, they had one on display in town for a competition, i was surprised it's noticably smaller than the omega and that they're starting at £11,995 for the entry level one, but still a VERY nice car to bring VX inline with the current competitors' 08/09 models!
the prize for this competition is getting the 2.0 turbo SRi for a full year, but you have to tax it and insure it (fully comp!) for the duration!!
not exactly happy with that as a prize if i'm honest!
-
Have they made the 4 wheel drive version yet :-/

Prefered the VXR8

I must say in a head to head between the Mondeo and the Insignia, I'd take the Insignia every time.
The Mondeo looks a bit boring, especially inside. It seems if they want to make something sporty, lets put some round vents on the dash.
The Insignia has a touch of class to it. Looks like an executive car that just happens to be made by Vauxhall rather than an attempt by Vauxhall to make an executive car.
If that makes sense
-
def prefered the vxr8. I imagine its more cash than an insignia? Oh dear, say the word and all i see is cheap aftershave. Eeeyuk. Nice interior though.
Shame no rear wheel drive.

Senator on - they were definately executive cars - and had a lot more presence than the Insignia.

I wonder how much a VXR8 will be in 5 years?
