hmmm...should have been banned.....

any member of the public would have been banned, depression or not....

Hmm double standards me thinks

From what I know it is not automatic to be banned if caught at 105 on a motorway as this officer was and not causing any provable immediate danger, i.e. not up the back of other vehicles in heavy rain, ice, etc. ::)

Anyway, we are all full of double standards as the people who say he should be banned are probably those who regularly break speed limits on roads far more dangerous than on motorways. >:( >:( >:(

Yet i got banned for doing 107 on the a1M on a bright sunny day when there were no other vehicles around .... except the  police scooby parked at the side of the road, and i had just left the north east for a new life after having a police escort sitting at my house whilst i loaded a removal van, and i was only speeding so nobody could follow me the 200 miles to my new house!!!!! Only got 42 day ban but still?????

Oh and as far as i am aware anything over 100 or thirty mph over the speed limit is an automatic ban - thats what the duty solicitor at the court (the bast**ds made me get the train to cause i knew i was geting a ban) told me!!

i over took a un marked cop car on the m5 going past glouster i was doing 92mph when i went past him not knowing till i was at the side of him

i pulled right over and onto the hard sholder
i got 3 points and £180 fine

while i was pulled over there was loads of cars clearly over the speed limit and i said to the copper what about those lot aint you going to have them

he then said very smarmy do you go fishing

i said yes some times why

the copper then smiled and said do you catch all the fish there is

i said no of course not

and he smiled again and said there you go
here's your ticket have a a nice day

     You should have said "No but the one's i do catch i let go without hurting em" :D
