As usual, look through dozens of chanels and cant find anything worth watching, particularly when we need to have something that both of us enjoy.

I keep saying it but it is time I got rid of SKY :( :( :(

As usual .... the only thing worth watching is a repeat on Dave.
We still have a week's grace before bloody Wossy is back!

We actually got around to buying a hard drive Freeview plus recorder today, so we,ve been able to play at pausing live tv. Draw back is that SWMBOis now watching some drivel hosted by Graham Bloody Norton from earlier on!

At £21.50 a month Mike I think I am dropping it as I move in April.  If they offer mr =e a free install as I go I will take it for the minimum period and turn the box into a freeview unit.  Then as they supplied the dish I will use that for a freesat service and get a Humax fozsat unit with twin tuners ( once Martin confirms they have sorted the gremlins)

Then will built myself a VMC unit and put some tuners in it.

I am paying around £44, films that we hardly ever watch and sport, that youngest lad persuaded me to put on last year for 1 match.  ::) Told sky only wanted it for one month, still paying :( and he is still watching, when he can :D
My own fault :-[

Just caught up with a "The Real Hustle" that I hadnt seen before.  Bloody good program, thought I was fairy smart to some of the cons but they have opened my eyes on some of the stunts they have pulled.

It seems OK now, but there is quite  a bit of children friendly stuff on

I've enough dross not worth watching with freeview. No need to pay sky/ntl for more of the same. To be fair i'm not a telly watcher. Some nights it stays switched off. I think people rely on telly too much nowadays. They're other things to do. ::)
