Title: Thieving b*stards
Post by: V6 Gix on 17 January 2009, 18:00:37
Just thought I would jump online and check my bank this afternoon. I expected to be a bit overdrawn as it's getting to the end of the month as I've been spending money to get my new business off the ground.

Some thieving pikey git has cloned my card and decided to help himself to £1500 of my hard earned cash. B*stard. He/she has been buying TVs and other electrical goods and even had the bloody nerve to pay his/her TV licence and then go frickin online shopping at Asda - I hope the tw*t choked on his/her groceries.

>:(

Phoned my bank (HSBC) and it sounded like I was talking to some woman sat on the bog in India. I was already fuming, but I couldn't understand what she was saying and that made me even more angry.

So to cut a long story short they've cancelled my card and I've got to wait 5-7 working days for a form to fill in, and then another week or so until they make a decision to get on with trying to trace my money. I asked them what I was supposed to do for money and they said did I have any friends I could borrow money off. Cheeky w*ankers.

I'm due to go to the States on business at the end of this week, so I'm up plop creek without a loo brush at the moment.

Sorry to bring my problems on here, but it's nice to vent off sometimes!!

hopefully for you HSBC will move quicker than the Grabby National did for me, overall, 16 weeks, and on that occasion for only 186 quid

Paid for their TV licence ?  If that's correct then the authorities have no problem finding them. It's the address that is licenced, not the TV.  :y

I had a rogue payment made for £80 to someone in gibralter.  Lloyds were excellent. Money put back within 48 hrs, whilst they investigated. Just sent back last form to confirm that it was nothing that I paid for. :y :y

i had £175 taken from my alliance and leicester account a few years ago which made me overdrawn by £100. it seemed straight forward to get the refund.
the thief spent the money on a watch !!!!
scummers, when caught should have a black tatoo put on their head "thief" to make others aware !!!!!!!! >:(

Many thanks for the responses guys, I'll keep you updated as I go along.

Oh btw, they say bad luck comes in threes......

1. £1500 stolen out my account.
2. Fence gets ripped out by the wind last night as it's now distributed itself all over my garden. Glad I had the dog locked up or he would have been gone too.
3. A few tiles came off the roof during the wind and rain and now the bloody roof leaks like a f*cked fridge.
