You wont find it in the shops.
You need to find a take away wholesaler. There used to be 2 major brands and 2 basic types of curry suace. With or without fruit. Chippys dont go for the fruit version.
Generally supplied in 5KG bags. Complete rip off really, just had water and bring to heat and simmer . It thickens quite fast and needs watering down as it sands.
Companyin Sheffield that may well be nationwide.
Fiddlers frozen foods
Phillips Goldensheaf
Braim and Coopers.
Hope it helps Mike.
PS. Used to own a chippy. If they wont let you buy trade, just tell them you are doing a one off OAP pea and pie night, and the old sods all want curry instead of peas and they should sell to you.
Allso consider Bookrers, Batleys and Costco. :y :y

If you are a regular at a chippy where you like the curry then just ask them to get you one, they will ad a bit on, but generally cheek does get you somewhere.
I did it for a couple of my customers.
My local pizza man gets me boxes of satsumas when I ask him, and once even got me a gallon tin of black olives :y

eeeeek olives, my next worst hate to bovril and butter beans. :-X

There's a chinese wholesaler near us that does storming curry sauce so I'm with Skruntie's recommendation. They have it in relatively "domestic" sized tubs too.
There's also a Sunday market near us with a chinese stall that's a good source. (no pun intended) ::)
