I would like to publicly apologise to vauxfan2k for posting an inappropriate link on his post about airbags.
I can only say I did not think before posting it. I have no excuse for not exercising caution.
I also apologise to others who posted in the thread.
Sorry
Mike

You did not miss anything, I hope I did not cause offence, it was more of a safety issue. And the fact I took a long time to respond to his request, he had to get an admin to alter/change/remove the post.

I missed that too. Can you post up the inappropriate link again please, so that I can moan about it. Thank you.

After the recent pre tensioner incident, Elite Pete and I were wondering if we could get Loo-knee to do a remake of something similar.
Purely for scientific purposes you understand. ;)

No appology necesarry, I just didnt want a "copycat" trying it at home and blaming it on a thread started by me. Something happened on another forum to the same effect and it was quite a mess to get sorted.
feel free to repost a link to the vid, but understand that altho funny, its also downright stupid, Hence why in my video we observed some safety rules, including staying a safe 20mtr distance away from the airbag.

Was this some time ago? seem to recall seeing something like that, either on a link to youtube or on the TV :-/ :-/ :-/

I watched it this morning. I can see why it was deleted.

To be honest, If people are that stupid to play about with them like in the vid, then more fool them! The have enough warnings stamped on them anyways!
Couldnt help but laugh at it anyway! And theres quite a few vids that are similar too!
