Aye, certainly facelift front and mirrors....
-
thats a facelift all right, someone could have put a 'private plate' on it and the dip stick seller marked it as 1996 due to the N on the plate.
-
At first i thought private plate but he states its a 96 CAR??
Does that strike anyone else as a little dodgy??
-
RAC number plate check comes back 1995 Elite :o
-
I just did same check,
Walk away from this one!!
I reckon it's been stuffed, and bodged with facelift parts by a cowboy.
-
Very very dodgy
-
Guys also if you look carefully you can tell it's a pre-facelift interior gaps in headrests etc
-
I dont get it! This guys got oodles of feedback. You're local TB, check it out :-?

"Selling for a friend" always gets the alarm bells ringing... ...not worth checking out, just avoid it.
-
Why can't the "friend" sell it for himself?

It could be a clone or if the parts are just cosmetic he might have had a front ender and fitted facelift parts. I did this with a corsa once and it made it look bang up to date just for the sake of new bumpers and front/rear fogs after the kissis forgot to turn and ended up in a hedge. Either way it should be mentioned in the advert and for that reason I'd leave it well alone.

At the very least it would need to have a facelift bonnet with integrated grill, front bumper with washer bottle and fogs, headlamps... this would have been a write-off it was involved in a crash and required all these reapirs. I would have said that this was simply a mistake - i.e. the wrong picture, another car etc, but it does have N-reg plates... no idea.
-
I reckon...
That facelift car has been stolen. nicked. robbed.
And someone who doesn't know the first thing about Meega's, has put the plates of a shagged (but not sorn) old N reg Omega on this facelift car.
I smell a rat, I think it's some sort of criminal activity. I might be wrong, but I reckon that's what's happening.
-
Looking closely at the picture, I think I can see a frame-type headrest on the front seat, which is pre-facelift, unlike the facelift ones which are solid...?
-
The interior looks like an N reg interior - I'd say it has either had a front ender or just a restyle to make it look newer
-
This car has raised an eyebrow or two on other forums (fora?) and a post elsewhere is of a question to the seller with the reply - "I can confirm it is a '96 model has had a facelift to the front end"
ookkkkaaaayyyyy... :-X
-
the fact there is only 1 picture too, can't see the back end or interior. Could be a cut and shut job! :o
