.....popped into Nottingham city centre this morning and it was dead!
HMV had Guitar Hero III (with guitar for the Wii) for 35 quid so thought it would be rude not to (a good deal from HMV!)

We go to Derby now instead cos theres a fantastic (?) carpark at the end of the A52 and its never busy there.

Played Guitar Hero (2 I think) on the gayStation, brilliant fun, esp if you've sunk a few of Leuven's finest first.
Be interested what you think of the Wii version MDTM, as I've never seen it.

Shall await a go on that ;)

Had a go on guitar hero on daughters wii last week,a bit of a laugh but about as close to playing guitar as mario kart is to actually driving a fast car.

Its a game, not a teaching aid!

Exactly, its just surprising that quite a few people dont seem to realise thar. :y
Although in an age when "playing the decks"is often thought of as being a musician its hardly surprising I suppose. ::)

One reason we haven't even considered buying it, mainly as one boy wants to learn and a real one would be 100x more fun (if you can play)

this wii,
cheaper console, but more expensive games once you ve bought all the equipment for each game?

No real equipment needed for games? If you want a golf club, or a gun etc, and pack of all common bits can be bought for £15. The Wii controller just clips in them.
The expensive one is the Wii Fit.

Ah, thatll be it then, Wii fit is the only one ive seen in action, looked pricey. Clever though. Do they do a stearing wheel or do you just hold the controller with two hands and tilt it?
