Title: Deb`s Snowy Morning (pics)
Post by: Debs. on 03 February 2009, 13:02:15
Been out clearing snow from my driveway this morning; it was too cold to be kneeling down and fitting the tyre-chains to the Miggy just for just a day or two of light-snow, so I used Lazarus-Landy.....like me: "old but still useful"  ;D

Nice photos Deb. Now thats snow.!! In Norfolk they seem to think 1/4 inch covering is snow. Shouldve heard them at work yesterday, worrying about whether they could get home or not!!!I mean,by then it was all turning to sleet and the only danger was when it would freeze but that wouldnt be till much later at night. The mother in law had phoned to say theyd had about 9" near Haverhill but we'd just had a sprinkling. Mind you, nice to look at , not so nice to work or drive in. Dont know about you lot but dont think a rearwheel drive auto is the best combination on ice! ;D

Only got 70 (ish) acres on Deb`s mountain (mostly steeply sloping); but there`s plenty of room for 4x4 off-roading, hill-climbing and tractor-based fun. ;)
