Title: Is this one worth looking at?
Post by: MadMark73 on 05 February 2009, 20:54:02
Found a 98 3.0 mv6 estate on ebay, (item no. 330304707989). The reserve is 650). Is it worth this or is it over priced? Any comments/advice woiuld be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Mark.

If its close to you then yeah.
I have seen this car before, its just an average MV6 estate with a few war wounds. Oldish bloke owns it, so not been thrashed in a while.

It's worth what you're happy to pay TBH... Personally I wouldn't want to spend much more than the reserve as it needs a new HBV (easy) but the bonnet dent would bug me ::) ::)

given the value of big cars these days i would have said no it wasn't worth the reserve.....

it is really down to what you want and how much you are prepared to pay

mmmm .... Handbrake OFF and a lump of something behind a wheel .... ??  add that to the other things and I'd be very wary ......
