Title: Any members near Stansted?

Guys, does anyone live near Stansted Airport? What are the snow conditions like down there?

We are flying from there on Thurs night - hoping we don't get cancelled or held up !!

You"ll be better asking thursday James...local forecast is heavy snow Monday onwards.

Maybe contact the airport direct before setting off thursday as well.

I live about 20 miles away and a colleauge of mine is flying out from there tomorrow. He has called and they say that they're not expecting much disruption this week, in comparison to last week.

I think you should be ok by Thurs - but you never know.... :-/

Hi James, Im just down the road from Stanstead.

The whole area is as clear as a bell (at the moment!).

I'll let you know of any changes.
