Over the last few days, I've been experiencing odd problems with my POP3 email. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't work I get the following message:
Error getting network address for “smtp.xxxx.com”
Cause: requested entry not found (11004)
Is this likely to be a problem with my host's server or my own PC?
Any guidance would be much appreciated. :y

Sounds like a DNS issue.
reboot router, clear dns cache in pc (ipconfig /flushdns), then tell your ISP that they suck

Thanks, TB. I tried re-booting and clearing cache, but that didn't seem to help much. Then I changed the SMTP server on my host site and that seems to have done the trick. :y
