Post by: richardirv on 18 February 2009, 08:51:00
I have just ordered a new design griffin badge for the back of the mig. do the original badges tend to come off easy or are they a pain?

I am hoping the new one looks ok, its a bit larger than the original.

80mm vs 95mm

You can have mine for the postage if it comes off in one piece!  :y

I will, I'm curious too. But didn't go to dealers.

Ebay!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110352674225&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:UK:11

Will need to get some adhesive for it but can't see that being a problem

OK badge came today, got it on but I think its too low. I'm really annoyed with myself. I was concentrating so much on keeping it level and centered I misjudged the up and down!!

What do you think, does it look ok or would you pull it off an start again bearing in mind i'm pretty sure i'd have to buy another badge!!

Badge looks fine... :)
Personally I would have left it off, cos car looks smoother and better without it...

Cheers for the comments at least you don't think it looks wierd, but you can't leave it off as there are 2 holes left behind when you take the old one off.
