Title: New dog
Post by: Del Boy on 11 February 2009, 19:15:48
Am getting a new dog well, kinda having her for a few days first so Marley (3 yr old german shepard) gets used to her. Marley ain't really good with other dogs but we had her today and he was ok with her much better than we thought he would be, few little snaps but she gave as good as she got. She is a 9 month old Siberian Husky real tiny compared to marley but she is all white with dark brown eye's lovely she is. She has a full pedigree and the women at mrs. work can't keep her as her husband works from 6am-6pm and she said she wants her to go to a good home for free  :o. She loves my 14 yr old already too  ;D She is sopending the night with women from mrs. work and we are having her over the weekend she'll be in a cage so marley can't get at her for one and she is a bit destructive but she is a lovely dog though real stunner :y
Lovely dog though :y
Bit of a long read but thought i'd share  :)

Glad to hear it.

We  are currently raising two GSD's whom have come from a turbulent past.

A few teething (literally) troubles, but they are settling in great.

You prob know Debs will be the best port of call for any advice or help, but if there's anything else you would like to know, feel free to ask away.

One of my close friends is a breeder and is globally recognised throughout the GSD circles.

All the best.

Luckily I have a women who studied all dog stuff at collage and has always been a great lover of animals. Thanks if we get stuck will defo ask :y She is a real cute little dog and Marley has been much much better than we thought he would be. Still see how things go at the weekend if it doesn't work out then we can't shut marley out as it's been his house for 3 years and the current owner could sell her for quite a bit but she has the best intrest's for the dog. I hope it does work out though  :)

Siberian Huskies are such a beautiful breed.....and with the period of introduction/trial first, it sounds like you`re doing everything just right!  :y

ive repoted him to the council and nothing has been done about him

he has already tried to poison the cats that we have got
we had a week or so run where the cats would come in the house and go to there litter try and it would come out like water

thats when we looked down the side of our house and saw he put some white powder down

Get a sample of it and take it to your local councils public protection department. Explain the situation and ask them to have it analysed if it turns out that it's a controlled substance he's in deep doo doo if you can prove that he put it down.
I recall an case many years ago when a gamekeeper "aquired" some stricknene, from a friend who worked at a factory that used it, to use to poison foxes when this was dicovered their feet didn't touch.
