Been using my 3yr old sealey powerwasher every few months to keep the caravan and sections of the house clean from the moss that grows from being surrounded by trees,
Yesterday I switched it on and the water was gushing out of the handle of the lance, when I pulled the lever, the pressure from the nozzle was poor and water was still pouring out the handle.
I stripped it down and fount 3 'O' rings in the mechanism, so got suitable replacements thinking that would sort it. NOPE >:(
I then checked every bit of plastic for cracks etc, and everything is perfect, Im stumped.
The hose for the lance screws onto the powerwasher so Maybe I can get a replacement somewhere, problem is sealey dont have them in the catalogues anymore, and google cant find it by part no.
has anyone got any ideas where to look?
Thanks :y

Lime scale blockage due to the pipes/tube not being empty.
-
Happens a lot to industrial steam cleaners. They need a lime scale remover running through them once in a while, same as diswashers/washers etc.
-
we dont get limescale up here tho :-/

Not even in your kettle?

nope, our water comes from lochs, so if we get anything its a slight peat coloured staining, but nothing that would clogg anything up.

Bit of O ring jamming something open to prevent a pressure buildup, or do I misread again?

when the handle is released, the pressure in the lance should hold without leaks, but at the moment the pressure is forcing the water out the handle, pulling the trigger releases some of the pressure allowing some water to come out the nozzle, but not at the right force.
Theres a shuttle type device that slides back and forth with the trigger, on each end of this there is a big O ring, and on the end facing the nozzle there is small O ring, the small one is what stops the water flowing thru the lance and out the nozzle, the other 2 O rings should hold the pressure when the trigger is released,
Im guessing one of these is still failing allowing the pressurised water from the compressor to flow thru the internals of the handle.
