Title: Capture Pc screens

Hello all...

Is there an easy way to capture the window containing my diagnostic softwares screen on my laptop .

press the print screen button on the keyboard, and in your photoshop software go to edit then paste, should display your capture as a new image.

And if you just want the current active window, press and hold Left ALT, and press PrtScr :)

Ok thanks  :y... and what about taking like a video .... im trying to watch my O2 sensors and would like to record the diagnostic screen for a while if that makes sense  :y

Video is a bit more tricky.  There are some programs you can download, but not too sure which would be best.

Can you not just set it to log the data to a .csv file or something which you can then import into excel?

Im not sure ... ive only just got the diag thing so would need to look ... had a quick play but couldnt find anything but will look again  :y

windows 7, at last, has a great little tool called sniper to cut any area of screen to clipboard.

as for video capture, not aware of any freebies that are any good...
