Aye, there was a M reg one on a few weeks back. Fair play it was mega tidy and he'd spent loads souping it it. He asked for a sensible offer, I said £900, considering it needed a clutch.

It never met reserve and was on a few days later with a BIN of £3000!

Sadly there is a credit crunch, a possible tax disk hype and fluctuating fuel prices.  All of which dont help sell a car of any for or description whether it be brand new of second hand.

At the end of the day a car is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.

If a seller is realistic he will sell a car, but anyone reapeatedly trying to sell a car at different prices will fail on ebay.  The best thing to do is put a reserve on it, put a bloody good description and plenty of pics with it and let people bid.  It will find its own level.  So possibly a sale for £1200 on ebay may be worth an advert in Autotrader for £15/1600 but there are no guarantee's of a sale either way.

But £7495 for a 4 potter , non leather not even an Elite with over 116K is a complete nd utter joke.

Good luck to the seller

That's slightly better, still a bit steep IMO.

Around the time I first got an Omega I saw a nice P reg 2.5 for 7500, ended up paying around 4000 for an N reg 2.0.

BTW I was second owner and it had only 1 MOT pass so far.
