if you went out for a meal/celebration with freinds or family which sort of resturant would you goto

i put other, it could be anything really, i prefer a steakhouse before drinking. or if its half way through the night or the end, a good curry or chinese

Hmm, voted other.

Last place I went was a restaurant called Red chilli. They do Bejing and Seshwan cusine (posh chinese) had 'Big Grandma's frogs legs'. bloody delicious! :y

Also a big fan of sushi. A friend of mine runs a Japenese restaurant so I fully take advantage of that!

But could be a pub or anything

all depends on mood at the time, and people dining with.

I wish there was a Olive garden restuarant franchise in the UK....Mmmmm olive garden salad and hot savoury bread  cant beat it... ;D oh and the never ending pasta bowls...... ;D 8-)

No surprise i voted Indian. A good restaurant gives you hot lemon towels at the end of the meal, amazing service. Chinese is a close 2nd & I love Italian. I'm surprised at the steakhouse leading the poll. Most of them seem to be Wacky warehouse type places. Steak & chips is hardly exciting & can be cooked better with friends at home with butchers steak & homemade chips & salad.
    Still love a good roast dinner, shepherds pie, lamb or beef stew, lasagne, chilli con carne, spagbol (no dolmio in my house), or corned beef hash with fried eggs!!!! :P
    I've lost a stone since january but posts like this don't help!!!! ;D
